Hydroquinone

Hydroquinone, also known as benzene-1,4-diol (Quinol), is an aromatic organic compound belonging to the phenol family. It is a benzene derivative with the chemical formula C₆H₄(OH)₂, containing two hydroxyl groups bonded to the benzene ring in the para position.

Hydroquinone is a white crystalline solid used as a general-purpose inhibitor, stabilizer, antioxidant, and chemical intermediate in various industrial processes.
