Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), molecular formula C15H24O is antioxidants.
BHT is an oil soluble white powder. If it mixes with BHA gives the better stability to the fat or oil to protect from radicalisation.

BHT acts as an antioxidant by donating hydrogen atoms to free radicals, which are highly reactive species formed during oxidation reactions.

Free radicals can initiate chain reactions that lead to the oxidation of fats, oils, and other molecules.
By donating hydrogen atoms, BHT stabilizes these free radicals, thereby interrupting the chain reaction and preventing further oxidation.
